Sony really needs to revisit some of these titles ๐Ÿ’” the big amount of exclusives they slept on is crazy!

They literally just started a TV show based on your first example, less than a year ago. Twisted Metal *just* got approved for a second season. Haven’t watched it.

Killzone needs another entry. Fuck the naysayers.
Just not at the expense of the Horizon series. Need that Nemesis battle like nao!

I’d also like another inFamous game, though I continue to question how conduits exist after Cole eradicated them.

Let’s be honest here, It is not just Sony. All of these companies need to go back and revisit some of their old titles. Do you know what I would give for a new Golden Sun game? Or even a remake? Terranigma would be an amazing world to revisit.
Oh, let’s not even mention Square Enix here. Between the two companies, they have countless amazing 90’s titles they could revisit, instead, we get rereleases of old Final Fantasy games, and a load of generic one-off titles no one wants.

If Sony made a new jak and Daxter game, I’d buy a ps5 the same day.

  5. HuevosSplash

Where’s Soul Sacrifice? Perpetually stuck on the Vita.

  6. Holy shit loco roco is my jam. But I thought remade 1 and 2 for the PS4.

  7. Some of these are never coming back, didnโ€™t Sony disband and close the Tokyo Studio?

  8. Prudent_Effect6939

I wish there were more games like Infamous and Fable

  9. Usual-Atmosphere7245

    Wereโ€™s the love for Resistance?

  10. Blueeyedmoose420

Sly Cooper was left on such a cliffhanger too, really wish theyโ€™d revisit that ending and make a new game

  11. AWESOME_4000

How is this twisted metal game? I only played TM2)

  12. picknicksje85

They need SOCOM. Seeing the succes of Helldivers 2 makes it a no brainer.

Closing Japan Studio was one of the most boneheaded moves Sony has ever made and the lack of low-budget high-return games in their portfolio is painfully felt.

That said, none of the franchises in OP would sell at all in the current market. Nostalgia is hitting hard if you think people are getting out of bed for Killzone or Jak in 2024.

    Man they do!

Jak and Daxter Iโ€™d kill for something new or remake.

Xbox needs to give me Blinx and Blue Dragon twoโ€ฆ

  15. SolidStone1993

How about another remaster of The Last of Us instead?

  16. chaotikz7

New Ape Escape? Donโ€™t you dare play with my feelings !

  17. Dull_Reveal59

Fat princess was an amazing hop in and out game! They messed up with the second version which was nothing like the first. Wish they embraced the simple gameplay of the first and come out with a newer one.

  18. spinocerebellum

Definitely Second Son! And even the older inFAMOUS games would be awesome to play on new gen technology.

Sometimes a series ends. And that’s okay. We can’t constantly complain about endless sequels and reboots and also want a bunch of finished or dead franchises that we look back on fondly to be resurrected.

  20. 0kayPunk

Naughty Dog is too busy making a 10th release of The Last of Us to remember Jak and Dexter exist.

  21. The_Iron_Goat

I think Ghost of Tsushima hit on a different level of success than either Sly or InFamous. Doubtful that Sony would have Suckerpunch work on anything else now, although maybe the titles could have spin-offs with another dev

  22. BenjerminGray

They tried with gravity rush 4 different times and yall still didn’t buy it, idk why you think “fifth times the charm”

  23. icematt12

I’d love something like MAG again. That was more enjoyable than BF 2042 to me.

  24. ArwingElite

Jak X Combat Racing is an absolute gem. Def play it of you ever get the chance.

  25. handsome_vulpine

Sly Cooper and Infamous especially need to come back.

The Sly games were left off with quite the cliffhanger, Sly trapped back in time in ancient Egypt while his crew were in the present day. That definitely needs to be resolved.

And the world of Infamous is just wide open for any number of superpowered protagonists each facing a roster of similarly superpowered antagonists.

  26. HerkeJerky

Infamous, twisted metal, and then by the license to remake Burnout 3: takedown.

I know it might sound crazy… But for me inFamous and Killzone have the biggest potential for a real Division/Destiny type game.
Infamous 1/2 plays the same with the lore, city or different enemy types like The Division. It would be a super fun game with lots of potential.
For Killzone I would love to see it as Destiny/Halo type game with dark, moody atmosphere set across multiple planets and really strong PvE gsmeplay full of story and side-missions.

  28. Reagansmash1994

Jak and Daxter was my first favourite game, the first game I fully remember completing and playing properly, obviously before that I play games like Croc, Sonic etc but Jak and Daxter was the first game I adored with a proper story etc.

Honestly still angers me it gets no love. Having to see Ratchet and Clank get sequels while Jak and Daxter dies brings a tiny tear to my eye.

  29. Azuthrax

I remember back in 2018-ish infamous second son was free on ps plus, and I decided to try it because, why not. And with around 1 hour of gameplay, I decided that the game was worthy of platinum.

  30. saintrobyn

I would love to see another entry in the Infamous series that takes advantage of the power of the PS5.

  31. tajniak485

wish In:famous wasn’t exclusive so i could play it.

  32. The fact thereโ€™s a whole Twisted Metal tv series and not at minimum a remaster is just mind boggling. ย This kind of corporate vision explains their stock tankingย

  33. patmahomesdad

I would suck a fart out of my crusty old neighbors ass cheeks for a new Jak and Daxter game.

  34. AAAAAAYYYYYYOOOOOO

If I were the head of whatever I needed to be the head of to make the decision to put Sly cooper 5 infamous 4 and Jak 4 in development I would without hesitation.

  35. joker_75

Sorry, the best we can do is port the last of us again

  36. MightyThor211

Sony has such a deep back log that if they did modern remasters and reboots of some of them they would rake it in via the Nostalgia boost. Like imagine a jack and Daxter or sly Cooper reboot like ratchet and clank, or a legacy of kain reboot with the same love as the new God or war series. A proper twisted metal reboot would kill I think.
