I did thus lol figured it out while doing s quick teardown and rebuild of the cou cooler because I realized it was upside down during a team’s meeting while having cereal.
I always wonder how people forget this. Pealing plastic off of new electronics is one of the most satisfying things in the world, how can you miss out on that?

This is why we use Noctua. It has a huge piece of plastic at the bottom instead of a peel, so its impossible to miss
