I have switched from an gigabyte z590i Aorus Ultra (I got it cheap back then) to an ASRock z490 extreme 4 (bought it cheap used) because it had more slots and an ity board looks weird in atx case. What I realized is that the z590 board easily delivered 200w or more for oc while the z490 usually delivers 160w when CPU is at 100% (180w tops) and the CPU isn’t even hot (with the z590 it was at 80°c at 200w and with the z490 it never reaches above 70°c). The powerdraw never goes above it no matter how high the CPU clock is set or how hight the powerlimits are set.
