I heard bad things about the mobo but I really like this deal since I would be able to get the Rtx 4070 super tie with it instead of the 4070 super.

Having 4,070 super ties is pretty good investment for work so yea go for it

Those bundles are some of the most “worth it” things in PC hardware. The Micro Center CPU bundles have almost always been absolutely insane and have gotten many a new build off the ground

If you’re in the market for a new cpu/mobo/RAM, you will literally not find a better deal

  3. MadduckUK

Jesus Christ, micro center deals are like “if a third party seller had this up on Amazon at this price it would be a scam”.

  4. 35mmpapi

I’m buying this next weekend and it’s shaving about $200 off my build price so yea, def worth it

  5. Foreign_Spinach_4400

Man i wish we had a microcenter here (ireland)

  6. kevdt267

Bought this 2 weeks ago and they just dropped it 30 bucks 🤦‍♂️

  7. JustANameAway

For real, this sub told me to do this last month. I took my son to Microcenter and had them build a PC for my son using this bundle. It’s a beast.

I’m a Microcenter man for life now. This Christmas I’m taking my youngest son to get his first PC built and I’ll choose one of their bundles again. Money saving go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  8. CallMeKekked

WTF You have no idea how jealous I am because there are no Micro Center locations in Europe.

  9. randomdreamykid

We need microcenters in countries other than the us:(

  10. jactheblock

I wish the UK had amazing deals like this

  11. IGunClover

Yep very worth it. The best deal there is.

  12. PlainsWarthog

I recently built a pc with that bundle. It rocks and motherboard is just fine. I did flash bios to most recent before installing operating system

  13. Brit here, i’m pretty bitter we don’t have anything like that over here. These bundles are amazing value.

I’m happy with my 5800X3D but at that price… I would jump instantly. Probably to the 7800X3D rather than the non-3D processors though.

  14. Disastrous-Rips

What the hell, this is insanely good

  15. aMythicalNerd

The 7700X alone is worth $300, that ram kit is around $100. Even if the motherboard isn’t that great, you’re getting one of the best deals you could ever ask for. Saving $40 and getting a motherboard.

    Short answer: Yes

    Long answer: Also yes

The problem with MicroCenter is, MicroCenter. Since MC only ships a few things, one must go into the store and in doing that, will be surrounded by acres upon acres of extremely geeky things that can be taken home. The taking home additional items is what MC is banking on and I must say it worked very VERY well for MicroCenter when I visited the Duluth, Atlanta store.

Kidding aside, being able to lay hands on cases and peripherals prior to purchase is huge. I was able to paw at the case I was interested in, decided that it wasn’t in fact the case I wanted. The associates in store are up on their knowledge and are helpful, it must be a cool job to see lots of patrons just geeked to the gills and smiling like lunatics.

I saved 400 bucks on a 7900x bundle, that is not insignificant. I rolled that savings into storage and gpu, and went after a “grail” of sorts keyboard(not at MC). There is no way I would have made the almost 3 hour drive to Atlanta(which I detest, I hate driving there and big cities put me on edge) had there not been a screaming deal in store. I spent the 400 I saved and a few multiples of that number that day.

    *edit*

Wanted to add, the GSkill Flare ram kit I got is likely the same as the one in the OP’s post. Have had no issue getting 6000Mhz out of it. Different mobo, can’t speak to that one.

  18. No_Engineering3493

Yeah, go for it. The 7700x is a good CPU and you could go for a 4070ti S which got the (possibly) much needed 16GB of VRAM. So it’s defo a good deal

  19. FatBoyDiesuru

It’s worth it. Worst case, sell the mobo and buy a better one?

Do your research on the board. I’ve yet to hear complaints from people I’ve recommended this bundle to.

  20. Single_Core

Asking because I don’t dont know. Is this the price u actually pay or are taxes added at checkout? (I am from the eu)

If so, how much would it be on average?

  21. Food4Upvotes

I’d pay just a little more for a 7800x3d bundle. They had some for $450 not long ago. Maybe they still have that deal? I only say because the 7800x3d is significantly better than the 7700x and will last years longer.

  22. I have the exact same mobo+cpu combo and it alone cost me that much couple months ago.

  23. klaguerre97

Very worth it and they have a pretty great insurance policy too

  24. Time2PopOff

Great deal. I have those exact components. I had to get mine off of eBay bc the closest microcenter is 4 hours away. So it cost me more. They work really well together.

  25. GnarlyChrisFarley

You can use either of those GPUs. Don’t know who gave you bad information

  26. East_Engineering_583

Man if only microcentres existed in belarus

  27. Membedha

Wow is there something roughly the same in Europe ? Is microcenter only in the US ? A friend of mine is looking for a new build and that kind of deals would be a hell of a good base to build on

  28. BatushkaTabushka

If you go with this bundle, you will end up with a similar budget as my build, I just built a pc with a 7700x and 7800xt for $1500
But we sont have microcenter here so I was buying used parts from random ppl wherever I could. So its pretty insane that you can get the same parts but brand new. Its totally worth it

  29. IllusionsForFree

My wife got this same bundle for 399 back in November. Def worth it. We paired it with the 7800xt, so about the same as what you wanna pair it with, and it works great.

  30. ISmokeyTheBear

I would 100% splurge for the 7800x3d bundle
