By any chance, is there a clear plastic cover on the heatsink where it meets the CPU? Maybe one that says something like, “Remove this before use”?

I’m over here trying to undervolt the slight whine out of my gpu because you can kinda hear it over the near silent fans. Really puts things in perspective for me

I think that’s just the Noctua PPC fan in the back.

At first I thought everything looked ok, then I thought maybe there was something to be *heard* in the video and holy airplane there was.

    AM5 with EXPO enabled?

It could just be the RAM being trained before each boot. While the RAM is being trained the BIOS is not yet loaded, so all PWM Fans spin at 100% (no fan curve)

I had my audio going through an amp at 74% volume when I scrolled to this. Me ears are not happy.

And I’m here seething over my HDDs disc being overworked and making the most obnoxious noise at 100% usage. Guess it’s time to replace both. Can anyone suggest two to replace a 1TB and a 2TB?

I had a strange driver issue that caused my 4090 to rev up like that.

When you set your fans to DC and not PWM
