It is possible, Maybe add some small seat beneath it like paper , I don’t think legs will get damaged
SmolishPPman
I would definitely put some kind of pad under her
ProfessionalCreme119
No but if your GPU vibrates too hard the spot under her may pickle after awhile
decobrz
1- if it melts, good. ur temps are fucked. or the quality of the figure is shit.
but, most importantly:
it might look fucking awesome, when melted.
Euphoric-Ferret1792
Yes add some thermal insulation now
Technical_Guidance69
God I hope so
minefarmbuy
Idk my eyes melted first.
mundoid
Probably not. I would try fire, that will get it going.

“What are your thoughts”
making one of those, that, when the GPU temps go over 90c.
only the clothes melt.
MoreLessTer
If it’s melting, your PC is on fire, literally.
At worst it’d soften and some parts will bend down, the part sitting on the GPU might conform to backplate shape if it’s too hot. People use boiling water to bend figures, getting it to melt would be alot higher than boiling temp.
LightyLittleDust
I gotta know where I can get that figurine.
OP?
ItsIllegalToDoCrime
depends on the material. See if you can find out what plastic it is and look up the tenperature when it starts melting/falling apart.
Squru
Plastic starts acting funky at like 85 degrees celsius and the backplate never reaches that afaik so you should be safe
penatbater
Depends on what kind of plastic. If it’s something like PLA, it will deform at 65c. If it’s something like ABS maybe it can withstand the heat.
killerbern666
youll see soon enough…
let us know
UlteriorMotive66
No! Not if it’s not made out of wax
Aga_pa
You will melt.
No-Motor-6131
whats the figure called please let me know op or anyone ?
TheRealTechGandalf
Screw the figure, you need an anti-sag implementation for the GPU!
soupeatingastronaut
Hey op wahy not add a wire from right top fans middle that leads to platofrm for the figure? That way figure can see what you play too. İt would be on the cooler place too but you may need to sacrifice that fans speed or stop it completely if you dont use some contraption for the fans spinning.
Wowsersftw1
Sad about this, should have just gotten a Lian Li… It just looks so much better than Corsair stuff
Spompoflex
why not toss it in the pits of hell too?
prolapsepros
Komiko has seen some shit.
Masque10
I can assure you if you put Iroha or Yui the figure won’t melt at all
SwagChemist
I used to have those ram stick designs, they look cool but I know them shits hurt to put in.
Lastsoft81
I dont understand why put more stress on the pcie socket isn’t the graphics heavy enough? Even with support.🤦♂️
KrewetkaYT
i hope
Dragon_211
She needs to be water cooled for sure
giantfood
It’s on a gigabyte product, so probably. /s
MotherBeef
Hopefully, yeesh.

I do not understand why you all are putting things that should not be in your computer in your new build.
Of course the figure is gonna melt
SuperMasterMan
i hope it will
Forward_Cheesecake72
Off topic , is it ok to put stuff on your gpu like that ? Won’t it bend the gpu connector or something ?
CanardPlayer
if i were you i’d use some pad or paper between the gpu and the figurine to avoid paint transfer
MysteriousDrStranger
I’m not sure, but it melts my heart seeing a fellow weeb. Wait what?
MakimaGOAT
Nah, anime girls are too strong
hfgd_gaming
Those are usually made from ABS and PVC. The melting point of ABS is far beyond what a computer should reach. PVC starts to get soft at around 100°C. So if your thermals aren’t completely at the limit, there should be no problem. And even then it still depends on the mixture
Fit_Cheesecake_1580
Why do people do this?
Yanzihko
A lot of plastics are able to withstand temperatures of 100C. If it’s a high quality figure from adequate plastic, nothing will happen to it, but prolonged exposure to high temperatures might lead to slight deformation.
Air in your PC will also be hot as fuck, so in long term paint will deteorate faster.
If it’s a shitty bootleg for 10$, it can partially melt even under the hot sun. But again, no idea what kind of plastic is used there.

idk but you will go to hell lol.
IntricateOnionStatue
With any luck, yes.

Honestly, I’ve never understood the need to put toys in the case. There’s just too many opportunities for things to go badly.
She could easily sit on a shelf nearby your computer.
