No such thing as “old enough that it can’t play games”, my first PC was a old bare bones IBM 486DX office PC that I got in 2000 was by comparison more of a relic than this and most of the time I was either playing a game or exploring random things I downloaded and copied to floppy on it.
As long as the will exist, a machine like this will forever have the potential to game!

You can still have older games on it though. Have test drive unlimited and NFS underground 2 on my shitty laptop and it’s great

If that were to have an AMD GPU it would be the perfect match for an arch Linux (Garuda) PC, the cpu is “old enough” and ram might need an upgrade (hopefully it is DDR3)
