Is the Copilot in the Windows with us right now?

I guess the days of windows on my pc are numbered. As much as i hate debugging every other game on linux, at least it doesn’t add stupid anxious “features” without asking..

Maybe I’m alone, but I fully welcome copilot. I use it more and more each week and it’s absolutely insane how useful it’s been.

Can’t find an email? Can’t find a document saved somewhere? Need notes taken? Need something summarized? Need a paragraph rewritten? Need an assistant to remind you to follow up?

It’s never ending. It’s a free personal assistant.

This is why I threw Mint on my laptop. I think windows 10 will be my last

Disabled that shit through group policy as soon as I saw it show up on my windows partition, then blocked what I could through my host file.

I really want to be able to fully swap to Linux for gaming because of stuff like this and being more familiar but Oculus headsets + Nvidia Gpu doesn’t work too well

Maybe 2024 will be the year of Linux desktop

Depends, can it work fully offline? I may consider using it. No? I will never let it set a byte on my system.

I’d kind of like to have the option to use it when I want but I don’t even have that option in Win 11 even though I have 22H2.

  9. Cortana is a terribe UI. It’s basically a Command prompt with easier commands and more functions.

Who tf asked for this shit. I hate what Microsoft has become

Why is Microsoft so insistent on shoving stuff down our throats? The first time copilot showed up on my taskbar (near search), I turned it off in settings. Now it showed up again in the right hand corner, so I go turn off the EXACT SAME SETTING! I already turned it off before, respect my decision and stop messing with my settings! Copilot may be the most amazing thing in the world, but I don’t want it on my task bar. Period.
