They are right and who could do that better than them?

    >We don’t have shareholders, but we also don’t think about them

    🤨

Huge ~~gaming~~ corporations: “We find pissing off our customers to the point they’re willing to completely bail on us for the first viable alternative to be the best path to increasing shareholder value”

Shareholders are the vampires of our society, demanding more and more blood to feed their unquenchable thirst.

    Good on Larian.

Shareholders are one of the reasons why Ubisoft, Bethesda and EA keep pumping out shit games

Shareholders are a complete cancer. They don’t care at all about the products they invested in, they just want profit as soom as possible. That’s not even reasonable since if they focused on making good games to strengthem their brand they would make more money long term.

Larian, do you want me to buy all your games as a devoted fan of your company morals and ethics? Because that’s how you get me to buy all your games as a devoted fan of your company y morals and ethics.

  8. It’s not like many of these companies have a choice? Profit driven only.
The C-suite decides based on shareholders interest. Being a successful indie company and making your own decisions is a luxury at this point.

#Fuck shareholders. You don’t do shit.

Ironically, this is the same shit that cd projeckt red pulled right before their cyberpunk release.

  11. Every company which was beloved by fans has fallen out of favor. Well see

    “capitalistic screeching!”

I work in a completely different industry and the privately owned companies are much easier to deal with and often have longterm advantages, they don’t have to stand in front of shareholders every quarter. Don’t have to cut costs at every corner to satisfy the masses that own shares, but don’t even know what the company produces.

    Well done Larian, well done.
