Yeah it’s really dumb and almost always happens. But sometimes it doesn’t so I don’t get what causes them to aggro against v.
Contrary to what CDPR would like you to believe, the police aren’t your friends and would not hesitate to open fire on you if an acorn lands on their head.
In my experience, attacking the gangoons from their right or left flanks, while staying well away from the NCPD, can avoid the NCPD from going aggro.
They saw the reward they offer for your head and made their decision
This improves my immersion.
If you hit them in the slightest, they will arggo on you. I usually melee in these situations.
When I started playing Cyberpunk on PS4 the police didn’t attack me when I intervened. Now they do. I was surprised when I recognised that, then I slashed these assholes heads off
I got in trouble with ncpd for falling off a ledge
ACAB, especially in a cyberpunk setting.
I 5 starred myself last night helping NCPD. thought I’d managed to get everyone, but still taking damage – turned around and there was a bloke in a helmet shooting at me.
and so, of course I shot back.
Can’t hit an officer or civilian directly or indirectly so avoid ricochets or explosions. Can’t stand to close to them or their aggro meter start increasing. And even then they sometimes decide you’re a more interesting target than the gangoons. Use melee or precise weapons and attack the gangs from flanks or behind gives best results imo.
