Firewatch was just so immersive. Loved the whole feel of the game.

Twilight Princess. Never found another game that hit that vibe

The Hunter COTW, Death Stranding, MGS Phantom Pain, Cyberpunk 2077, All of the Dark Souls games, Ghost Of Tsushima, Arma 2 and 3, Dead Space, F.E.A.R, GTA series, Deus Ex series, Dishonored, and any FPS where Id software was involved, i could go on, and some of those games i have not finished or much hours into, but i remember them and visit them from time to time like rewatching a good movie.

Zelda: BOTW – How am I the first person to say that?………. Is Zelda too obvious and that’s why?

Hollow Knight’s atmosphere is just perfect. It’s dark, beautiful, and totally immersive

Personally, I love the aesthetic of *Fallout 4* (especially with the haunting, echoing music). I’m also a huge fan of *Conan: Exiles* — in it’s base state, it is so perfect an emulation of the Armholt Musclehugger *Conan the Barbarian* … even down to the music inspired by the OST.

*Cyberpunk 2077* is gorgeous beyond words, I just can’t play it … FPS gives me the queasies!

Metro series and fallout new vegas

    Return of the Obra Dinn

Its always so peaceful but unsettling. You know there is nothing posing a threat to you. Nothing can kill you. Time isnt a problem. You can take as long as you want to. Theres no sound aside from the seas ambience. But youre alone on the ship, looking at how people died sometimes more and sometimes less gruesome deaths while the entire gaming looks like its being run on an ancient PC. You can even choose what artstyle the game has. Everything in that game is mixed perfectly into an amazing atmosphere

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. I love booting up this game from time to time and just walk around.

ghost tsushima no question, Nothing beats hittin the pen and riding/walking around the dense forests following foxes and various other wildlife to different items

  13. Multiversal-Browser

Black Mesa and Half Life 2. It feels immersive like the location is real and you could visit after you got off.

OG Dead space really nailed that utilitarian spaceship design, looked like a beleivable corporate run hellhole ship for breaking asteroids, without even needing anything beyond a few Osha posters and some fan ducts.

Not the most grand example, but Team Fortress 2 has such a signature style and class character design, it still holds up today. There’s a reason why overwatch ripped it off 🙂

I just wish more people played it.

Skyrim; Really gives you a sense of being a small piece in a large world.
