I would argue that r /computers must be leaking to PCMR

I’ve seen my fair share of outright wrong info or bad advice browsing this sub through both New and Hot to laugh at anyone who considers this place a beacon of PC knowledge. That’s actually my experience with all the tech subs on reddit outside of smaller niche ones like r/sffpc

It is in fact terrible. I saw someone there building a PC but not even knowing what a SATA power plug is

to be fair the people in this sub who advise are quite stupid asw

Have you seen this sub? R/pcmasterrace is a bought and astroturfed subreddit. If you want information about tech you would be better off believing the vastly inflated bs of the corporations than whatever you read on here. This sub is somehow worse than promotional material.

I was thinking you were going to put the dolt dragon as PCMR.

Guy yesterday trying to tell us how 108 PPI was somehow Retina and you couldn’t see the difference between that and 160 PPI at 2.5 feet distance.

I went through that sub just now and honestly I saw less stupid questions on there than in this one…
