I just noticed that, when I set anything from 1.22V to 1.15V on my Gigabyte X670 Gaming X AX with a 7800X3D, it always shows 1.2V on SVI3 TFN (CPU reported vsoc), while on the other hand, the mainboard reported vsoc changes quite a bit (1.224 with BIOS 1.19 and 1.176 with 1.15V).
So well, my question is basically, why does one change and the other doesn’t and does it make a difference at all, since the CPU still seems to get its 1.2V no matter what.

Alright, found the issue, namely Gigabyte.
They have two SOC options, one of them kinda hidden.
The one in Settings > AMD OC > SOC Voltage overwrites the “normal” SOC Setting, if it’s on Auto.
If the “normal” one is set manually, it will stick to 1.2, no matter what you do (even in the AMD OC tab).
