Greetings guys, I am trying to overclock my rams but it’s ser to 4800 mhz and won’t go past that even tho I am using the xmp profile from from the bios. I am completely new to this but I was told 4 sticks will never reach the max speed, but is there anyway I can boost it more than 4800mhz, doesn’t have to be 7200 but any boost is a win
Specs:
Ram: 4x Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5-7200 – 24GB – CL36
Cpu: intel core i9 14900k
Mobo: asus proart z790
Gpu: inno3d rtx 4090 ichill frostbite ultra
OS: windows 11

Yes, there is a way. Set the xmp profile, but then go and manually adjust the clock speed starting from 4800, rebooting each step. Skip the greyed out frequemcies. You might still end up in the 6000 range somewhere.
Go in youtube for ‘actually hardcore overclocking’ and his vids ‘reacting to peoples ram timings’ you will learn so much about them
