I am fortunate to have the 4090 FE and the 7900 XT. Can’t compare the two, it would be like comparing a nuclear ballistic missile submarine and an aircraft carrier. Different missions, different builds, but both fucking awesome. I wish more people could actually afford or even have availability, there would be a lot more information that isn’t getting fucking skewed.
Also, let’s just remember that *though they give us good products, they are just corporations who want nothing but your money.*

I own one. Great card. If it’s legit then it’s a good buy.

About $130 down from average launch price, cheaper than a majority of the other 7900 xt cards. It’s not THAT bad of a price but I still wished it was a little cheaper to hit that $599 price.
If you are thinking of getting and AMD card here is quick Pro and Cons list (personal knowledge).
Pros: Cheaper price for similar performance as the same tier Nvidia card, drivers get MUCH better over time, don’t have to use or worry about the new 12VHPWR connector, and access to FSR for up scaling.
Cons: the size of the cards on average are LONGER than similar Nvidia card (I’m looking at you 6800), power draw is higher on a majority of AMD cards, my 6800 needs 2 full 6+2 cables where the 4070 needs only a single connector to do the same, Nvidia cards are better with Ray Tracing, Drivers do get better over time but they have MANY problems, DLSS is (currently) just better.
If you do get an AMD card then all the power to you. But if you can try and Disable windows from updating the drivers. Windows has been know to try and update the drivers with an older worse version a screw things up.

Holy think I should replace my rtx 4070 with it? Serious question btw. I am tempted to

Those Pulse cards are solid in my experience.

I wish we had prices like these in the EU.

Man I just got a 7800xt I would have jumped on this if I knew
macandcheesezone
I bought one ☺️ been debating between this or trying to find an $800 xtx. Since it’s Amazon I can return it if it doesn’t perform as I hope, or if an xtx deal pops up
excelz_og
I’ve had my 7900 Xt for a few months now, definitely worth it if you’re currently running something similar to the GTX 1080 like I was.
daniec1610
I’m a sucker for RT and I really want to play cyberpunk with every single setting turned to the fucking max, should I get this one or a 4070 ti super or above???
Rukasu17
Yes we know americans have good prices on gpus, nonneed to rub it in for third worlders

20GB vram for 669 is awesome deal.
Takosaga
Damn, great deal. Would buy but my 6700xt is good enough for now

I hate that I paid 900 on release but oh well.

I _just_ bought this card (for $749). It’s an amazing card.

Got a 7900xt tuf for my brothers rig runs everything in ultra 1440p and gets the frames too. Now they even added frame generation for all games through driver level works great if you even need it at All. My brother now plays cyberpunk ray traced settings with roughly 150-200 fps. Heck he plays the finals on cranked up settings and gets more fps than his friends who drop all settings down. The 20gb of vram is such a relief when thinking of the future too main reason I went for it.
Don’t regret it a single bit. Don’t listen to fanboys software everything is great. The only thing I do find on my laptop rtx 2070 that amd hasn’t implemented yet is a DLAA competitor but that’s sure to follow through soon
Maxfarace
I am waiting for the next generation of GPUs to drop to upgrade my rig. With each passing month, it’s looking more and more like I’ll finally make the switch to AMD. I already ditched Intel for AMD 4 years ago. AMDs cards are just so reasonably priced – idgaf about any driver issues at this point

Recently got a hell hound for 675, the coil whine is bad wish I waited. lol
