Gave Battlefield a run for its money. 256 player matches where teamwork and coordination was key. And don’t even get me started on the Roleplaying aspect.

I’m one of the few people who got to command. Super fun.

It’s insane they had 256 people playing back in the ps3 era. This is the reboot we need gaming industry

So much fun! I feel like a lot of people just wouldn’t give it a shot. It still is the biggest feeling shooter I’ve ever played.

Team raven was the best change my mind.

I played the beta every second I could got the full game, and there was literally nothing new played for about 2 days after that. I never played it again. This game was a huge flop they basically gave us the game for free, and most of us were burnt out after the beta. I had a great time in the beta, nothing better than running around a corner to find 80 people aiming at you with LMGs and rpgs while the other 40+ are trying to snipe you it was funny. Starts off in small local circles and ends up in complete mayhem lol

I still chase the highs this game gave me and my friends all those years afterwards… I’m starting to accept that there just won’t ever be something else like it. Even as the market and technology continue to develop, it appears that there is little interest from both players and developers for this sort of experience.

Team SVER for life!

This game had the best connection for an online multiplayer I’ve ever played to this day. 256 players and seamless hitreg and I played on a 3G connection. Game was a gem

God damn I forgot about this game. I would smash this if a remake came. What a game

Sony is sleeping on this and Planetside. There is no reason that can’t come to consoles now. They aquire Bungie to bolster an online presence and they literally have bangers from SOE looking like redheaded stepchildren. Also I want to drop PS3 Warhawk on this list. So much fun.

A few days ago i remembered this game, bought it when it came out, used to snipe on that modern faction and use a rusty machine gun on the guerrilla faction, was really nice to play.

I remember vividly going to eurogamer games expo in London back in like 2007/2008 with my college friends, and seeing this game for the first time, and it blew our minds with how many players could be in a game at once. Was a big deal back then. And he won’t see it, but shoutout to Alex for making that day one of the funniest days of my life.

If you can look past the “Minecraft” style graphics, Battlebit is very similar!

Shooter games are lame. It’s the same formula over and over. *Pass.
