Lol that cooler isn’t gonna keep the i9 cool you need at least a 360mm AIO.

I’ve never heard of XPG before, I’d be suspicious of that catching fire. Your air cooler is not enough for an i9. Curious why you paired a top of the line processor with a 4070? Odd combination of parts
LeadingDoughnut3708
I’m gonna tell you right now that cooler wasn’t enough for my 14700K.
HavoXtreme
Even before testing, no that cooler will not be enough for the 14900K. I bet my life on it. It will suffer from noticeable throttling.
Peebloo
Thanks for all the comments guys, I’ll buy a couple stronger fans before testing it. A few recommendations would be appreciated 🙂
straightfromLysurgia
who ate your ram, also get like an nh-d15 or something a h212 evo on a reactor of a chip called the 14900k won’t be fun
Vapehead34
So you went high end, and cheap out in power delivery n cooling? PSU id definitely recommend seasonic if you decide to get a new one. Also i7-14700k/kf would have been ideal. Money saved from that could have got a better PSU.

hyper 212 for i9 lmaoooo

xpg psu? you gonna build a bomb
xpg for ram otherwise branded shit
Cyberpunk39
The CPU cooler is inadequate for that CPU. Needs a dual tower air cooler or better yet either a 280mm or 360mm AIO cooler. Listen to this advice or waste a lot of time having to replace it later or seriously gimp your CPU performance when it’s frequently thermal throttling.

I9 with a 4070. Facepalm. And a small cpu cooler to top it off. Lol.
santasbong
Hey let us all know in 2 weeks what new cooler you bought!
Maleficent_Drop_10
Wtf is XPG lol?
normal_dude_69
why i9 with 4070 s could have gone with 13700k + 4070 ti s instead
Cimaron71
OP, please stop being ignorant and just accept the fact that a hyper 212 won’t be enough for an i9, extra fans wont be enough to cool that thing. Get a 360mm AIO or a beefier air cooler if you don’t wanna deal with pump failure.
Refund that cooler and get a peerless assassin for like 34 bucks on Amazon.
Careless_Spend9497
He have money to spend to high-end hardware but no money to buy decent PSU
thefatkush
Bro spent 1k between CPU and GPU but cheaped out on a good cooler and PSU. No offense(full offense) I hope it blows up on you 🤷♂️
CarlWellsGrave
That cooler is great for my 5600X…
Peebloo
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. As per the recommendations, i will buy a nh-d15 fan. luckily amazon says i will receive it tomorrow morning. So i wont lose much time waiting for it. and ill build the PC with that fan instead.

cheaps out on PSU and cooling, classic
RevolutionaryCan5095
OK.. I’m going to try to be nice and constructive here, unlike some others here. Although they are mostly right.
Please do not put these parts together. Return literally everything here except the mobo, I guess. Get a 13700k or 14700k instead of the i9. If you don’t wanna spend a lot on cooling, get a thermalright peerless assassin 120 se for just over $30, uts way better than hyper 212. Get an actually good quality PSU (do some research, there is a PSU tier list out there) you’re gonna want at least 850 watts if you plan on using it for future builds but 1000watt is ideal. Use the money you saved from swapping the i9 to swap the 4070 super for a 4070 ti super or RX 7900 xt. Swap the ram for a single kit of 32-64gb of ram. Getting 2 different kits works, but compatibility is better and less hassle if it was one kit that was tested from the factory to work well together.
If you do this, you will have a much better, longer lasting and well-rounded build. This build is just not balanced at all and is going to perform pretty badly for the money spent. Also, seriously, don’t cheap out on a PSU when you’re buying a $550 cpu and $600 gpu… You saved maybe like $50-$70 on a PSU to be the soul thing keeping an around $2,000 computer alive…. Why take that risk? If you decide to throw out all of the other advice, at least return that PSU and get an actual quality one instead so you don’t risk frying all of those expensive components.

What a joke lmao

ur cpu will explode

this is retarded lol

OP please listen and exchange the cooler for a high performance air cooler or a 360mm AIO. The hyper 212 is only rated for 90-100w, your cpu is 250w base.
AwesomeRyanGame
Why’s everyone talking about the ram or psi when bro has got no storage.

Oh oh.
Cooler looks like its not enough.
Id prefer dark rock 4.
Looks nice and should be strong enough I think

Did you buy the PSU just for the anime girl on the box ?
