Seriously it’s embarrassing how quickly you get out of breath. My 70 year old mum could run faster.

Was this good? I saw it the other day and added it to my wish list cause it looks interesting, but didn’t wanna spend the money yet

I feel like it’s to keep you from running from fights you gotta fight makes it more scary when You got people (shadows) coming in and you can’t run lol

I got stuck on one part and I can’t seem to kill the ghost people. Seems like I don’t have the proper weapons but I don’t know where to pick them up at in the forest/ map.

  4. I have fond memories of it, despite a few flaws. The story and atmosphere were more exciting than the gameplay.

That is a huge annoyance for me as well. That and the severely limited ammo and batteries on harder difficulty. But that’s the game, right? You are in a scary place with danger lurking in the darkness. You don’t have enough bullets and flashlight batteries to take out every enemy, you need to be smart about how you get to the next street light or power generator. It makes it more tense and exciting.

What is Alan wake I never really understood it

I mean give the man a break, he is a writer by profession, it’s not that often that writers need to literally run from their own creations that are hunting them

I think this was intentional. Have you ever had a nightmare where you are running away from something or trying to get somewhere and you can’t run properly.

NO he’s too busy writing and darning his elbow patches

It’s “My name is Alan Wake. I’m a writer.”, not “My name is Alan Wake. I’m a runner.”

Yeah, Alan is super out of shape in AW 1. My fat ass can run faster and longer than he can.

He’s a writer who seems to have a severe caffeine addiction. Not sure what you’d expect.
