seems that the mode is already starting to die. I was still hoping they would have improved it in the future seasons, but seems that they actually don’t care at all about this mode.
Just a quick little DMZ copy/paste with a month worth of coding changes and viola we have MWZ which probably increased sales by 25% initially. Goal accomplished. New Yacht for the executives: confirmed.

If this is real I think I’m done with this franchise finally and looking for a new shooter, this is just too much lol.. I can’t keep defending a game when there is nothing left to defend. I can’t even say I have hope for the game mode anymore if this is real. This is the most disturbing and disappointing news I’ve heard about the game since release. I feel like a clown.
If that is true, then MWZ is just going to die a slow death. No new enemies? Not even a Krazny Soldat? I guess I will finish my Bio camo grind in season 2 and be done with the mode.

These changes are up to whatever team is working on zombies (i believe its IW) so idk why he isnt asking them instead
That’s a shame for those who still enjoy the mode but I think I’m done with it. Hoping now they devote the minority of there time and resources into there own zombies mode for this year
I don’t really care at this rate, if Treyarch are dropping MWZ then I think it be better off that way. Then they can focus on their 2024 title.
This should prove to Activision that they better think twice before they do something stupid again.

This is my third year in a row skipping COD because the zombies offering was not great & I feel no regrets about it. It took some of y’all only 3 months (or less in some cases) to come to the same conclusion about the quality of zombies. Will you enter the cycle again next year?

The mode was dead the moment season 1 launched. I fucking loved this game mode played every day, accumulated at least 100hrs in a few weeks. But the problems are too big too ignore anymore. Mainly the progression system. When i go into t3, by myself, i want top tier loot. I dont want a green aether tool and a fucking grenade. They purposely made the rng atrocious, and its just not fun. You know a games RNG is out of control, when there are people SELLING schematics for this shit.
What a joke! If they ever do this mode again, they need to fix the rng, and make a more cohesive map (honestly, copy blackouts design philosophy of putting small little tribute to previous games in sections of the map).
Treyarch is obviously all hands on deck for their own CoD this year. MWZ was nothing more than a DMZ copy-paste cashgrab and that’s been clear from the reveal
So the season 2 roadmap with the new warlord would be a lie then?
Super disappointing. I saved bio for season 2 so I have something to do. I will do the battle pass, prestiges, calling cards and bio.

Got downvoted to shit for the first 3 weeks this zombies came out.
Tried telling everyone that this was rushed garbage, with no love or thought. It is a reskinned DMZ with zombies added in.
I will say it again, no one will be coming back to this game three years from now saying “damn I’m craving some MW zombies”.
Good riddance tbh. This mode was a held together with ripped tape and it’s better if we just leave this mode and let Treyarc work on their project. This mode was interesting for like the first week of the game’s launch but it’s not the zombies we know. Hopefully Treyarc can make something like Cold War again.
