Ive done this mission more times than i can remember but i never ever knew that u could end the meeting with woodman peacefully by doing the jotaro shobo gig before this quest. It makes so much sense as clouds is under tyger claw rule and shobo was a high ranking member of the claws so obviously woodman would have heard about it. Im sure people already know about this but I thought it was a cool detail added for exploring the world before doing this mission

Just did this yesterday, first time I saw that dialogue as well, Woodman still died though, I just don’t like the guy.
Nowadays when I start a new run, Jotaro will die before I meet with Evelyn and get the flathead.
First time I killed everything, didn’t even notice when and where I killed him, so just got the info from the computer.
Next play through, I spoke to him before even starting Phantom Liberty and ended it up peacefully. I still went back with Judy to end him.
Next play… most likely the Stephan treatment – Sir John Fallustiff till death.
I enjoy killing Woodman.
You can also end it peacefully if you have high intelligence.
You can investigate everything. Then make a deal where you offer to help him stop getting his business hacked if he tells you what you need to know
Why would you want to end that peacefully?
I always end it peacefully by telling him how to stop his Dolls getting fucked up by ‘runners.
You can meet Shobo in the Blaxk Saphire if you leave him alive and if u killed Maiko. After that, i remembered that i had left his Gig on, so after the Party, i naturally killed him.
