    100%

People can’t enjoy anything anymore apparently.

Internet user learns that people complain on the internet, while complaining on the internet.
    News at 11.

That’s just reddit for you lol. It’s an odd phenomenon. Like I get not liking a game but the desire to hate on it I’ll never really get.

**Especially** when they didn’t even play it and just watched someone else play, that’s the real weird shit.

  4. Minialpacadoodle

It’s funny watching nerds seethe over D4 which came out in June and Starfield which came out in September.

And the third option of I don’t want to hear topical conversations but I must remain where it’s happening.

  6. satanic_black_metal_

I did this to baldur’s gate 3. I still regret it lol.

  7. Nightmare_42

Imagine being this saltly because people have opinions about bad games you like.

  8. Tall-Girl-00

the truth is that you can’t enjoy anything anymore. people think that if they don’t like it, it’s trash and that’s it.

  9. CosyBeluga

I don’t have that much energy or time for games I don’t like.

  10. Sami_Steen

I only trash games if I care about their franchise dc,marvel and star wars if a random ass company makes a live service game I don’t care

  11. For me it was Alan Wake II > move on. Even though in finnish. Just dont like the horror genre. Back to cyberpunk for me while waiting for eclipse and gta.

  12. RedKraken61

I will 100% do this for live service games. No matter how good they are, live service is a blight on the industry. It only exists to make executives money. Don’t buy live service games! Don’t buy micro transactions!

  13. Inventor-75

SC haters pressing the second button every single time for no reason

  14. SweetPuffDaddy

I understand the hate for some games, like Suicide Squad and Diablo 4, because they were the next big games from well renown studios that got ruined by micro-transactions and always online requirements. But for stuff like the Golem game, it looked bad, it was bad, I didn’t buy it and moved on.

  15. MagmaDragoonn

If this I referring to social media, and especially this sub, delete the left button. It doesn’t exist.

  16. DoomSayerNihilus

If your game comes with Denuvo I’m not getting it till it’s 50% off.

  17. OGRickJohnson

As a general rule I don’t trash games. Period.

I play the big game if I’m interested and move on if I’m not. It really is possible.

  18. ScottOld

See the price is extortionate and trash it

  19. kinglokilord

Y’all remember when Fallout 76 came out and every redditor was suddenly an expert on it despite never trying it and just parroting shit they heard other people say about it?

It may not have been the best game but by God it was like watching someone play a game of Telephone but with 76 opinions.

  20. tehnoodnub

But it, play it for 30 minutes, then wonder wtf I was thinking and regret wasting my money.

  21. FullMetalAlex

Imagine simping for the video game industry

Isn’t it usually when a game comes out with a genre they are a fan of? It’s not fighting game fanatics that are trashing Starfield, and city builder fanatics that are trashing Diablo 4.

I bet that the most hate on Starfield comes from people who are RPG/Space themed game fans. A lot of the gamers that hate on D4 have already bought the game, or at the very least played POE/earlier diablos. Gamers that are truly uninvested in the genre typically aren’t going to care.

As a fan of Ace Combat I’ve been dealing with this from a snobby minority of DCS players.

Also “don’t play it but look at some other loser online talk trash about it, then go talk trash about it online anyway”
