You could make this meme about differing opinions on the tower ending.
On the left: “Panam is mad at me and I can’t use combat cyberware anymore”
On the right: “I get to live a long, natural life and I can start over, to do whatever I want”

Am I the only one who doesn’t know which ending has which name? How do you guys have every ending memorized with a proper name, maybe just me
Edit: I’m well aware of where the names come from. I just don’t know how so many people match the name to the ending. That’s all guys lol

Reed: So do you wan the cu-
V: Nope!
Reed: Wait, why?
V: Not a fan of “The Tower” ending, everyone has no time for me or hates me in that one.
Reed: Uhhh…”The Tower”?

The tower ending is cyberpunk as hell though. It’s not like you can have a good ending in this series. No one has a happy ending in the dark future.

I had the tower ending first as I chose the corpo backstory. Makes sence. I swear. I did not sleep and i felt like shit the next day.

Couldn’t be me, I love the Tower ending

I find the Tower ending more optimistic than most depending on how you play it and headcanon what V does next. The Star is the happiest of endings but also has lingering death in the near future which puts a dark cloud over that ending (similar to most base game endings besides Temperance). My main issue with the Tower is a bit of plot convenience where V doesn’t give their significant other and their friends much info to go on before the surgery for no reason. If I was V knowing all the spy stuff that just went down I’d say “hey if you don’t hear from me soon track down Solomon Reed. Here’s his contact info…”

To me it’s the opposite, I love Tower and pretty indifferent to Star

Again, Tower ending is misleading. V is a sleeper agent, and until I see V’s canonical death I will be forever convinced.

This is why CDPR is so amazing. I never played Witcher 3 and been going through it and they still had those kinds of outcomes.
