UPDATE: Per HusKerrs’s convo, Ted Timmin’s response to his tweet on the Pro/Cons of MnK/Controller | Clarifies his post and will watch informative videos on the topic + share with the team | Could see visual clutter reduc., essentially detailed in TGD’s video, however, very pessimistic per HusKerrs.

  1. Felt it was only right to give a condensed update for all the people that have been asking to save time.

A lot of posts bring up the timeframe of the tweet – Around Cold war integration in WZ1. If you had the chance to play the game, nothing has changed when it comes to the overwheling consensus. Additionally, playing and properly tracking targets has gotten harder for raw tracking.

Additionally, the overwhelming consensus of most players, regardless skill levels on either inputs, would tell you that controller close range is a significant pro and MnK players would tell you they have an easier time at farther ranges. Not only that, if you had the chance to play WZ1, long range combats has been significantly reduced compared to WZ2+. For example, you could easily kilo, STG, etc someone from VERY VERY FAR or even variety of snipers. The only combat that has stayed super relevant in all parts of the BR is close range fighting.

Mods feel free to contact me for anything

It’s indicative of what we knew before, a lot of devs are looking to protect the lower skilled player from avg to top skilled mnk players. And til this day if you look at the recent casual player’s warzone experience thread, or just this guy from caldera: https://streamable.com/w7r88p, you can see the avg mnk aim is nowhere near the avg controller player with aim assist. Whenever it’s even skilled mnk vs controller at every bracket, 9/10 times it’s controller winning head to head, if not higher. And til this day in that thread you have console players who just don’t know how hard it is to aim on mnk in close quarters and in long range against moving targets.

But the studio/devs are there to protect the lesser skilled players on 4-4 from huskers. That’s why since latter half of mw19 with shitty guns with sway, and new mw22 engine they’ve tied aim point to the character. B/c AA gets buffed when as it aims from the character, while mnk aim has to be consistent to properly track a clearly visible target. When your character turns with AA, your gun but doesn’t move and its aligned with you. When you move your right thumbstick and aim for yourself, your gun stock moves back and forth and you miss tons of shots

  5. Another thing, big shoutout to Husk. I really appreciate how open to convos he is and out spoken. His goal is never to belittle or disrespect anyone. Only thing him and many others regardless of input want is balance.

Recently, Activision is having an event, and he wasn’t invited to it. I believe it’s a fortune keep event, I know it’s resurgence focused, and even though he’s not resurgence focused other people that are not resurgence focused have been invited.

This might be a reach but Im hoping that him being more outspoken these past days hasn’t got him removed from the invite on an event he typically is consistently invited to in the past.

There is a reason why cloakzy and husk with similar skill levels one is way more popular than the other.

Thank you for keeping up on all this, hopefully people keep talking about it so they can’t sweep it under the rug.

Also I think Huskers or one of the few other M&K streamers should host M&K only tourneys. Try to grow the game among true FPS fans & maybe some day the devs will stop treating it so poorly.

After reading their mp sbmm explanation post all I took from it was:
    – All we care about is money.
-To make money we need players.
-Addicted players will play the game regardless.
-We need to babysit unskilled people to create retention.
So the “I am going to bring this to the team”, sounds like the: “I will escalate this to the relevant department, and they will contact you when they can get to you”. AKA: Well, I appreciate your time but i’m doing fuck all about it.
