I mean it almost looks like the arrow is pointing to a vein under the arm? Which would be insane detail to think that they gave V a specific point on his/her arm where a doctor might know what to do incase of a medical emergency relating to the missile arm.

In a world where people have subdermal armor and skin weaves, having unarmored places for medical access such as inject locations where the needle will actually be able to pierce the armored skin would probably be a necessity.

Technical stuff not useful for the averange consumer, kinda like the labels in the phone chargers or batteries, most people dont know/dont care about stuff like the voltage, the potency, how to open it or dispose it, i guess thats for the ripperdocs, doctors or trauma team.

My assumption from the rescue label is it’s a specific spot designed for trauma to stab you with meds. Looks like a nice thick vein from the surface shape

Like everyone else said could be for drugs and what else, also could be pointing to a mechanism that can detach the cybernetic, like if it’s malfunctioning and on fire or something or gets trapped or whenever you might need to remove your arm maybe theres a button or a series of switches beneath the skin to remove the whole arm
Maybe it doesn’t get used by scavs because the emergency removal process damages the cybernetic

Think of it this way: rescue arrows are painted on aircraft and pointed at areas with ejection and egress assistance/assemblies. So, it could be pointing at a place that helps with ejecting the arms in a critical emergency, such as during a situation of catastrophic failure that could lead to death or serious injury. It could, like some have suggested, also be a point for delivering emergency intravenous medications that cannot be delivered directly to the patient’s heart with a hypostim or through their respiratory system like an inhaler.

As others have suggested, possibly a medtech “insert emergency meds here” but it could also be an emergency cutoff, cut the cable and the anchor on the explosive releases, in case the loading mechanism fails. Same sort of thing for something like Gorilla arms, in case they jam closed.
