This Dark Matter grind made me appreciate BO4 for the great game it is.
We were spoiled for choice with Main Quests and side Easter eggs that dragged us away from simple zombie killing; which BO4 does really well once you figure out the early game min-maxes and allow yourself to indulge in the massive number of available weapons.
When you get bored of a certain map to grind, just choose one of the other 7 available! By the time you’ve wrapped around the whole map selection, you’ve learned something new about the base mechanics that you can apply to the prior maps!
I’m away from home atm and just writing that all out makes me crave a DOTN solo EE run, or maybe fully upgrading all the AE Gauntlets. Sucks I’ll have to wait a few months until I can get back to it.
