I talked my parents into buying this game on release. I think it was the first game I ever got on day one instead of waiting for it to go on sale.

This was the day I started training for the Blockbuster Game Championship. Won locally, didn’t win at the state finals. Still an awesome memory!

Peak gaming 30 years ago and just 2 years prior to Super Mario 64, Crash Bandicoot and Quake showing up on the scene with the shift to 3D everything.

Let’s not forget that Michael Jackson originally did the sound track for this game and then decided to back out at the last minute or something of that nature.

I got it as an early birthday present after school. Drinking kool-aid, watching Legends of the hidden temple, playing Sonic 3.
Life was good.

There is something cozy about the way Sega Genesis and Sega Master System did their game covers. Even the layout was cool too with the background grid that many of them displayed. I miss those times, I miss interesting cover art!

Just realized that is probably meant to be Knuckles in the bushes

I remember that my parents took me to Atlantic City that weekend. I packed my genesis and played it on the gigantic rear projection TV in the suite all weekend- with room service! It was a good memory until I remembered it was a Trump property.
