Almost seems like its TOO good of a deal. Best order of operation is to def meetup with him at his house and test everything out there. Id go as far as to making sure windows boots up all the way and even stress testing the pc just to make sure there aren’t any hidden problems that come up under load.

if you can go test it out go for it. seems like a good price and not a too good to be true. probably could get $600, maybe $700 if he was willing to sit on it. but like you said if he’s moving, he’s trying to get rid of it quick. I would try and find out how fast he’s trying to move and you might be able to knock another $50 off, but shit, for $500 I would test it and run with it.
