What level are you? Go hit up a ripperdoc, and get yourself some Gorilla Arms. Those add +1/+2/+4/+6 (tier 2/3/4/5) to your Body attribute for Body checks. After you move the dumpster, you can always switch them back.

Thats why this game has such great replayability. Do a different build and find different things.
Heard that there is a bug with skill scaling in the current version.

How low is ur strength stat? The bin is only like a strength check of five ain’t it?
Use a car.
Do legit any ending for tier 5 gorilla arms (if you can) then use them for the +6 to body checks. If you aren’t high enough lvl for that just buy some gorilla arms as they give a + to checks
My body is ready
In my very first playthrough I used grenades, but that’s probably patched since that was at release.
Gorilla arms. That’s always the answer because it solves so many strength checks without you having to invest too much into strength points.

So before all the updates and patches, when the game used to crash every 20 min, you could just move the dumpster no matter your body score. It was an interesting series of quests that made for a nice little story. I’m kind of upset that they changed it and made it scale with your level
use wemod to add strenght points for the mision then put them back as they were .
Skills issue.
Gorilla arms add a flat body check to everything. Legendary will add a plus 6 so for a lot of checks it can easily make up for even low strength options. Assuming you didn’t put literally any points into body that’d be 3 base +6 for a total of 9
Regardless of my builds I always go to at least 14 body with legendary arms which means not only do I succeed every body check but have six points left I can put towards anything else
Just leave the sentient soda dispenser alone
