Spoiler: If you want the Devil ending/ achievement, save Takamura. Even if you want another ending first, if you don’t save him you’ll have to restart to do so.

The only downside of doing this is that you’ll miss some Johnny appearances in gigs/cyberpsychos. It’s pretty minor, but some are very funny.

Unless, of course, you did Phantom Liberty as well?
I am trying to figure out what’s the best course to follow the narrative of the story as I would love to record the journey in the game.

I did this to Takemura my first play through as well. Did absolutely everything except PL ending before progressing his quest line. Probably gonna do the same this time around too.

Lmao the funniest thing is if you happen to pass by him running to another POI he’ll start his dialogue and V will cut him off (while running) “Sorry, can’t talk right now!/I’ll catch up with you later” and EVERYTIME I am dying because I always catch “Oh I guess you are busy right now” from a distance and it always has me dying.
I passed by him 3 different times and every time it was like that 😂 I love you Goro I promise.

I maxed out my street cred before I even met up with Jackie for The Heist … I was just playing and exploring and doing gigs and shit haha. Was probs lvl 40+ . It did make for a great main story quest experience tho!

My first play through was on launch week. It was a buggy mess but I pushed through because the story and setting were so captivating. I finished the game in less than 20 hours (by accident). My most recent play through I logged 80 hours with the phantom Liberty dlc. Top 5 fav games of all time.
