The thermals with that setup seem questionable, considering it’s a case with a bottom PSU shroud and tempered glass side, combined with the fact that this is a 4-slot GPU on a micro-ATX setup. The GPU is going to end up faceplanting a mostly solid metal plate.
Would it *technically* fit? Yes it should, since the case supports up to 365mm long cards and the ROG Strix is 358mm long.
That’s not even getting into the not compatibility-related aspects of this, like paying near $1500 for a 4080.

Wait, hold up — I just realized the actual issue. I just blindly assumed this was a typical micro-ATX board (which would be 4 slots). This is actually a 3-slot mATX board that’s missing the topmost PCIe slot (I’ve never seen this before). That’s why it incompatible with a 4-slot thick GPU with this case layout.

The cpu is good, but if you’re putting 1400 into a gpu, why not also get a 7800x3d?

Sff cases are a nightmare usually, grab a decent mid tower with high airflow , thermals will be much better.

Why people go for anything besides full ATX is beyond me. It’s a PC, not a laptop. It don’t need to be small or mobile. Bigger will give you far less issues
