Got a great deal on this 42” C2 OLED, and have been absolutely loving using it as my PC monitor. It replaced a VA panel 34” UWQHD LG monitor (34WP60C). I never fell in love with the look of the VA panel like I have with this tv/monitor. So far the switch from DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 has been pretty seamless with the help of my 3080Ti.
Any advice on ways to optimize the setup is always appreciated!

Was on the fence, ended up buying (even more than expensive than an OLED) 38 inch IPS UW, they look amazing but I can’t get over the burn in that will happen with anything other than careful not just gaming use :/

Exactly what I did. 42” LG C2 I got open box from Best Buy for $600. Just a top notch experience
Turn EVERYTHING else off. Pitch black. Then do that again. You’ll see

Oled master race. Enjoy my man, every other tv will be washed out….nah, qled looks decent as well but when the content is right, oled is just bliss.
OLED is just something else. If burn-in wasn’t a thing I would have went for it a long time ago
I have the Alienware AW3423DW and a 4090. What is that demo you are running it looks sick. If it’s wallpaper engine what’s the name of the theme?

I have been wanting one of these so badly but there’s hardly any good deals on LGs C line and I worry about burn-in.
Have been using a C2 as well for the past 8 months! And it’s great, I love working, gaming and movies on it. But it is a bit huge at times and having a slight curve would be nice. Still, awesome monitor.
