My WiFi antenna is nice and pointy so I put it right on top of the case and my cats have never tried to lay on top of it.

Give a better option for the cat to sit on, like a soft bed somewhere high, a heated bed, or do some hostile architecture on the pc.

I don’t have fans on top, so I’d let the kitty chill. If you have fans on top then I’d try to encourage the kitty to move. But seriously, people have a LOT of fans these days, I have a full case with 3 fans in front, 2 in back and 3 on gpu; that has to be enough considering the room everything has.

It is a battle to keep cats off my pc tower. As in they refuse. I have resorted to putting foil on top. The exhaust is getting blocked either way. At least the foil keeps litter and hair out of the case.

Your PC is comfortable, warm, elevated and affords a good view of what you’re doing. Your alternative needs to exceed those specs for the cat to willingly relocate.

Is’nt safe when you playing in high graphic games and do hard work for CPU, like 3D rendering or code compilation, etc.

But seriously, I’d recommend a decoy warming spot. Heating pad maybe?
The purring will cause slight vibrations that will help excite electrons, slightly boosting voltage and performance. I’d recommend scratching behind the ear for maximum performance.

I also have this issue. Pip loves being on top of the PC because he gets the warm air blowing up past him. Apparently not a problem for keeping the PC cool though – internal case temp is approximately 34 degrees.
