I’m so confused. Long story short I was over clocking ram / CPU. PC suffered a couple of crashes in the process.

Cue a huge crash, artifacts across both monitors and followed by the BSOD.

Reset the bios and the PC is fine, however my 170HZ monitor is dead. I’ve tried it on other devices and with multiple cables.

It still displays the artifacts even when its only plugged in and not connected via a display cable.

Can someone please shed some light on a possible cause? The PC crash looked like a ram issue through and through. However its allegedly impossible for that to kill a monitor.

Is it just a crazy coincidence and my monitor has just died at random? Could one monitor dying cause BSOD and the need for a Bios reset so the computer would boot?

Both options seem unlikely so WTF just happened lol.
