Of all of the easter eggs buried in 2077, the coolest one that I never thought I’d see is Snake’s SOCOM. I’ll NEVER use another side arm for the rest of the game. 🤣

Well shit never noticed the resemblance before they look so similar.

Yea I was using that a lot, but I found the Columbians silenced pistol to be even more OP so I swapped it out.

SOCOM pistols are real, so I’m not entirely sure this is an Easter egg, unless there’s something more subtle I’m missing here?

Was really hoping that it will have a functioning flashlight…

Wait until you meet the special guest in the hotel bar, during the Konpeki heist.

Snake’s SOCOM if it was a completely different gun and made out of LEGOs maybe lol

It’s just a USP.45 with a silencer on it lol

I’m not sure this is an MGS easter egg. It could be, but the pistol he uses in those games is a real gun

The design is heavily inspired by the H&K MK23 Mod 0. I wish the laser module had an actual laser and that the suppressor was a little bigger. Those complaints aside I love this thing.

Jackie’s Pistol with a good silencer was my go to stealth weapon, but after Phantom liberty, this obviously replaced it.

If V marvelled over the minutia of the configuration, that would have sealed it.
“Custom trigger to use less pressure to fire, the rail machined to slide quieter, extended magazine for larger capacity and less reloading…”

I mean… a gun having a LAM and a suppressor isn’t necessarily an Metal Gear reference. Especially since a chode suppressor, but the LAM does seem to resemble it.
That said, the MK 23 is one of my favorite handguns in the world purely because of that game, so now that I can have this in my head when I finally get to it in Cyberpunk, I’m okay with that.
