Dude, make what you want. There will always be someone who wants it. Just ask the people who make jumping taco or the game about being a fucking slice of bread.
Man, there’s such a shortage of quality 3D JRPG’s lately that any new product that has at least some measure of polish will sell.

Well Final Fantasy sells really well but that is probably the most popular series, but clearly people ‘want’ JRPGs. FF7R was really good (except for that ending that had nothing to do with the story), the Mana series was kinda mid for a while. Hopefully Visions is good and sells well.
