For the longest time, I wouldn’t *touch* the M14 (I was overly-wedded to the SKS), but after messing around with it in the training grounds, it might be my new favorite DMR; I’m glad to sacrifice some damage for better recoil, and I was absolutely *terrorizing* this squad (even though I do think that if they’d had a bolt-sniper, I’d have been domed. I also think they handled the situation *very* badly, they had zone advantage and high ground, could’ve just backed up and waited us out).
