No. I had to get the settings for V on my phone to carry her over from PS4 to my PS5 new playthrough because she’s been through way too much to just leave behind.
I think after so many hours with a character we get used to the voice attached to the face. When I try to make a new female V I just can’t. The male V’s accent bothers me, I can’t pin down where’s he’s supposed to be from. Boston? New York?
I know it would be too much to ask cdpr to change V’s accent according to their life path but logically I think it would be different given lifestyles. Female V’s accent seems to fit regardless of path chosen.
I wonder sometimes what the ratio is on male players vs female players. Which V gets played more by which demographics? Personally I prefer to hear a woman’s voice. Especially if I have to hear if for 300+ hours.
I always go back some of my favorite women in movies, Sigourney Weaver in alien was a bad ass and so was Lucy Liu in kill bill. I wanted my V to be like them.
