This was going to happen with or without tech layoffs. When companies merge historically it’s common to trim the fat

Oh Darn who is going to make the Character Skins?
burnSMACKER

“microsoft arnt gonna touch activision, they will leave it on auto pilot” < Some dumb fucks who thought ms was just gonna watch the money they spent burn itself to the ground. This is honestly good shit though. MS need to get up these devs asses. How have they been making/maintaining warzone for FOUR FUCKING YEARS, but they still royally break the fucking game with each damn update. 4 YEARS and they still act asif its a beta. The management and devs, need a shuffle. Wazone = Goldmine. Just needs decent management.

They will have one more chance in the gulag reports say.

Yay 3 trillion dollar company that just fought tooth and nail to get the blizzard acquisition of 69 billion done. Fucking disgrace
Practical_Adagio_504
Probably 1800 of them were the very LAST of the audio engineers responsible for surround sound…
Embarrassed_Matter3
Hopefully they didn’t take away from the Richochet team.. bunch of rockstars over there!

I was saying for **months** that the ABK acquisition would **only** be good for shareholders, investors, top-level management, etc. It would do nothing but completely fuck the gamers over. It is, once again, why I find it so odd that people love Phil Spencer. Dude was acting like this acquisition would be the greatest thing in the history of xbox for gamers. And so many of you dumbasses ate that shit up. The future is bleak for video games. Wall Street has it’s teeth in, and more and more we see microtransactions, digital stores and DLCs released for the price of full games (or more) (Desiny 2, Final Shape?). And if you don’t think video games will shift to subscription based services you are dead wrong. It will be *vehemently* pushed against by consumers, but it’ll happen. Feel bad for the newer generation of gamers. They’ll never know how good we had it circa 2007.
