THIS IS THE WAY TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE EASY. it took me awhile but I figured it out. POINT BLANK HEADSHOTS. Not chest, not far away, face to face kill. I waited until the zombies were up close and personal and headshot. Try to single them out instead of in a group so you don’t miss. Avoid zombies in a line as bullets may go through. This method will work. Any gun. No pack-a-punch needed. No insta-kill technique with gas grenades. I say that because instakill bonus is random. Now I avoided shooting the dogs because I did not know if it would stop my critical kill count or not, so I just ran away from them and kept running up on single zombies and shooting them in the head.

Yeah, i did this with a pistol for the personal touch. It’s important to note though that you can aim too high on the head and that the face really is the sweet spot.
