May have gotten a little snappy when this happened twice in close succession.
Please say where you are when you’re down. I will travel across the entire map or run head first into the red zone to revive a friend in need, but you gotta tell me where you are so all I have to reply with is “on my way :)”

Just ignore them if they don’t give coordinates. That simple. Don’t ask where. If they give a grid, great! If not, ignore and move on
I think some people believe you can see the plead for help icon a lot further than you actually can. I actually kind of hate that the view of the icon requires you to be so close

I always follow up with:
Open the map, look at the grid squares, think Battleship.
Easy. I’m down can I please get a revive at F3
In a few minutes I post the same thing and sure enough a kind Soul came around and helped me out. I gave them a reward for their time if I have anything worth giving or I ask if I can run with them.
My last revive I was picked up by a squad of 5 and they dropped a lot of stuff and next thing I know we are beating up a GIANT Worm on the beach. I honestly had no clue what was going on. It was Epic and I never saw so many Disciples in my life.
In all seriousness I agree. I was stupid one game setting up a new character and ran to kill stormcaller forgetting I had a 1 plate and no self rez. Had to ask for a rez at c1 and got a good Samaritan
I never played DMZ but it took me 5 seconds of seeing others type “Need Rez D6” to understand what those coordinates meant and how to relay that to people.
Dropped an SOS in the chat along a please, with coordinates to where I was. I’m still waiting
If someone is that bad, look on the map for the one dot that is NOT moving. I have had to do a few rescue missions like this.

I know when I first started playing I assumed my location was marked on everyone’s map when I went down. But I’d never spam the chat like that either.
