Can someone check the specs for this build I’m getting from Skytech Gaming?

My budget is less than 2k and the one I have in my cart is a little above the 1.9k mark. I know that building a pc is supposedly cheaper than buying one pre-built, but I don’t feel confident enough to build it correctly.

I’m going to start streaming once I get this PC so any tips are welcomed!

Hello Tiddy-Annihilator, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

seems ok, my only gripe is that the ram is kinda slow for $2000 ddr5 system. remember that you need a budget for things like a monitor. no point in an overpowered system if the monitor is sub par. not to mention mouse/keyboard/desk/chair/maybe headphones…

I’d go with 6000mhz for the ram as it’s the sweet spot for ddr5 and windows 10 cause I have heard windows 11 is so bad.

You could get a bad cooler as it doesn’t specify, you will need a decent one for that cpu. the warranty is only 1 year too ? my recommendations are if you build it yourself btw.

You would get a much better warranty if you buy new from amazon or newegg or any website that’s trusted and it really isn’t that hard to build one I am building my first pc in a few months and all the videos I watched make me realise it’s no where near as complicated as I thought.

It will be very fun to do though, you could also ask a friend to help if their interested that’s what I’m doing. You will be able to choose exactly what gpu you want for your aesthetics as well as other stuff.

I can give some recommendations that aren’t boring to watch, if you have a big budget like that you will want it to be done right no pressure, you don’t want overheating at all. As someone else said you want to get a good monitor, mouse, keyboard etc and not blow it all on the pc

Sorry for the book to read
