Radeon has been great the last 3 years. Great performance and reliable drivers with an arguably better ui than the competition. If AMD nails the AFMF launch in a few days (24th), they will also close up in features. The only real con of owning a Radeon GPU atm is the poor rt performance which AMD said will be solved with RDNA4. They are on a good path. The only fuck-up in recent times was the Anti-Lag+ banning scandal.

I watched this. Guy kept saying that there were micro stutters but wouldn’t show any video explaining it. At the end he said he would go back to the 4070. One and done For me. He gets to cash his check from Nvidia – or a 4090. it is a good card but a bad price is all you need to know.

My latest Nvidia drivers caused a game to just not work at all for me, so I had to roll back to the previous driver. Now I’m getting bad 1% low stutters when I didn’t before. Guess I have to say NVIDIA is trash now because I had a bad experience. 4070 right in the trash. /s
My wife has a 6700xt and it’s played anything she’s thrown at it and done well. AMD really is just a little bit behind NVIDIA, not the miles some fanboys claim it is. But someone has ONE issue with a product and now they bash the entire brand forever. It’s really obnoxious.

I tried Radeon in 2023, honestly RX 6800 was surprisingly good. Arc has somewhat decent Starfield drivers though, I’m back to it.

I disagree if you’re someone who has workloads that work better on a certain type of gpu or perhaps your really into vr.
This would be an excellent type of video. And it might have a plot twist if you’ve only heard bad things about amd and this video might change someone’s perception.

Well. I have a 7900xt. It’s been great so far for playing most games in native 4k. So much so that I don’t plan to upgrade in a very long time.
I’m constantly told how shitty this card is in comparison to 4080 for “merely” $400 more💁

The software is lightyears ahead of the Nvidia one and looks good too.
The only drawback for me is lightroom.
Sometimes I feel its My gpus fault that it crashes sometimes.
Otherwise team AMD for the win.
