I’ve been reading through the Cyberpunk Red rulebooks and been loving the lore chapters. In particular, seeing the attack on Arasaka tower from another perspective.

By all accounts, lore-wise, there should be no reason Smasher loses that endgame fight. Your lil katana and malorian, as stated, wouldn’t do jack to him (sandi or not). He has the best of the best, I’m willing to bet he’s got some stuff under the hood that’s pure experimental bullshit. Stuff V wouldn’t never have even heard about let alone be able to acquire from a streetside ripperdoc
His tearing apart of the edgerunner crew in the anime is much more in line with what should have happened. Stomped like meat.

The image of Johnny just standing in one spot, not even attempting to use any sort of cover, and just holding both triggers at Smasher and genuinely thinking it was going to end well is so so funny to me.
