I LOVED gaming when I was a kid but I got my first laptop that could run some games when I was like 15 and it got promptly taken away because I’d play literally all the time.
I finally got my first pc when I moved out from my house in university and I still value having a gaming space a lot years later just because it doesn’t come easy sometimes.
This is nice to see, as long as the kid knows he’s got it good😂

Get him a decent chair early on. Not sure what you have already but if I had the cash I would drop decent money for a chair. Even if he decides to quit along the lines you can sell them used or use it for your own work. As for the room itself did you decorate the walls, bed carpet etc or did he choose? He’ll probably pick up a couple of hobbies as he grows so it’s better to leave everything blank and let him decorate it. That’s how I would have liked it as a kid anyways and he won’t blame you instead he will cringe at himself looking back.

So just to clear some things up! My son is 6 and he helped me pick everything and helped me decorate it as well! It’s currently winter and happens to be about 1 degree so he stays inside…durning summer he’s always outside riding his dirt bike four wheeler scooter or just playing with his cousins! He also plays baseball,basketball, and football! So it’s safe to say my son has many hobbies and doesn’t sit at his computer all day!! And the light in the Xbox…well the box isn’t currently hooked up since he plays the pc…I know about electronics I mean I build the pc so I know the do’s and don’ts thank you very much! We enjoy our mother son time!

Don’t have a problem with all the gaming stuff, it’s a fun hobby and he should enjoy it. I just think that the bedroom should have as few distractions as possible. Bedrooms are for sleeping. My wife made me get rid of my bedroom TV, and I am better for it.
