old thing being much better for its time than new thing is for current day is an exceedingly common circumstance. many people like old Toyota more than they like new Toyota but that doesn’t necessarily mean old Toyotas are straight up better cars.
My 1080ti still plays CS2 , battlefield 2042, cod, age of empires 2 on high. Prob not gonna upgrade another half decade, depends how long I stick to aoe2, maybe even 15 years in that case
