I had that effect last for an hour one time. I was like wtf? This is getting old. Closed the game. On restart it was gone. There’s a glitch that sometimes the effect doesn’t turn off. It’s only supposed to last 10-20 seconds after certain missions or dialogues.

It should go away quite soon. if it doesn’t it could be a BUG. that happened to me giving the “wrong” answer to johnny during the “automatic love” mission.
I played several hours before realizing it was a bug and that I deleted all my pre-bug saves.
If it never stops you can reload a previous save (if you have one) or go to nexus mod and download the mod. Just remove the glitch and not all effects.

It got stuck for me too i had to find and do brandon the machine missions and it got fixed there is a video about it, just search about the glitch

Is this the relic glitch from Automatic love? Iirc there’s a fix if you do the Brendan vending machine missions it goes away, worked for me on one of my playthroughs.

You do realize that is literally part of the game, right? Like, it’s an effect that is intentionally created to show that the relic in your head is malfunctioning. Once you progress past a certain point, this will happen from time to time as scripted by the story. It’s like when you go Cyberpsycho using the Edgerunner perk except you can’t turn it off. Also, why would you? It breaks immersion.

That can get stuck like that after certain parts of missions where the relic acts up. For me, quitting and reloading did not work. I had to go back to the save before I talked with Johnny, which fortunately didn’t lose me too much time.
so you just need to figure out which quest it was that did it to you and go back before that. It would have been one of the quests where you talk to Johnny at the end while super fucked from the relic.
you also might need to pick certain dialogue options but I don’t remember exactly. If you just look up “CP2077 relic effect stuck bug” and find posts within the last couple months you’ll see more detailed instructions somewhere.

There was a bug (now patched) where selecting a certain dialog option in a fairly early conversation with Johnny made this glitching nonstop. But the intermittent glitching is part of the story.

For me it was a glitch that never went away. I did the Coin Operated Boy mission with the vending machine. After you complete thst mission it stops the glitch.
