Swapping from an Rtx 2080 to 4060? It’s like trading your sports car for a newer family car, right?

  3. “upgrade”

If you look at techpowerup’s gpu relative performance list, the 4060 is 100% and the 2080 is 101%

  4. coldreaverl0l

man it’s sad to say it, but this is no upgrade ;(

  5. Sonikdahedhog

You sidegraded homie, should’ve waited a little or got a 6800 or some to kng

  6. Rudradev715

    Bro no.

You Should have saved money for super series or RX 7000 series.

    Or

Should have waited for 5000 series

  7. Individual-Match-798

Dude! It’s slower than 2080! LMAO

  8. I have the 2080 too, I am waiting for 50 series or price cut on 4070 and abpve

  9. GigaRusich

Its slower than a 2080, get a refund and get either a 4070 and above or a 7000 series for amd

  10. Nice. Same performance, half the power!

Assuming you play games four hours a day every day, and pay a typical rate for electricity, that bad boy will pay for itself in just under six years.

oonga boonga bigger number mean better card

Honestly confused why you’d go from a 2080 to a 4060? You’re literally not going to notice any difference other than maybe slightly better performance at 1080p because of the dlss. It’s a very odd waste of money I’m sorry to say. The 4060 is not a bad card, but there is no reason to go from a 2080 to it.

You can’t be serious. 😭. If anything, it’s a downgrade. You went from pcie x 16 to pcie x 8.

The 4060 is a horrible gpu. Should’ve saved a bit more and bought a 4070 super.

Congratulations! I was initially planning to purchase the RTX 4060, but I came across a used ROG Strix RX 6700XT, so I decided to buy it instead.

This is just ragebait, right like so many posts on here

Return it bro! It’s not an upgrade coming from a 2080. Save up for a 4070 ti (super), that will be a real upgrade coming from an 2080.

Do a few google searches / comparisons and you see why the people here keep saying this.

Would it be too harsh to say “That card is dead on arrival”?
