I’ve only fought him on one character, and I used a single mod; one that made it so I dealt a quarter of the damage to all bosses, and I took double the damage. This made it take maybe 50 tries to beat him, but after mastering him it feels amazing to beat him. He’s so well designed, and all of his phases are an amazing transition, and he’s truly blood pumping and cinematic; couldn’t love him more. One of my favourite characters in the game with my favourite bossfight.

I surprisingly didn’t even get to use my 2nd heart, I had 3 intelligence and used only the ashura on very hard difficulty, yeah turns out he can’t dodge homing bullets.

It was a hard and scary fight for me actually. I did the “don’t fear the Ripper” ending on highest difficulty and he was a real menace. He was fast, could one – two shot me, he constantly pursued me, never giving me opportunity to rest. He jumpscared me a couple of times by appearing right in front of me and punching me to death. Then I tried to do regular Aldecaldo ending, and he was much easier which was kinda strange. Maybe because he got distracted on Panam a lot, I am not sure.

When I went to face Smasher, he got bugged and stopped attacking me completely (but kept saying his voice lines as he got to the specific health percents). Was extremely underwhelming for my first ending clear.

I fought him on two characters. One is max level, and he was pretty easy. Makes sense, I am literally max level. The other was on a character that was around level 40. Yeah, he was a lot more tough on that character

I did two endings and both times I lost to him 3 times before finally beating him. So I’m 2-6 vs. Smasher. That feels fair to me. A good boss should get you at least a couple times to show he’s serious, but I also don’t want to spend all day and night trying to get past him.

I thought the fight was fantastic. Definitely had me hype at times

His damage is good and sandy is sick, but I still think he needed quite a large health buff. Maybe my melee build was too OP but he died super quick.
Also they should give him a chance to completely mitigate your own sandy by allowing him to move normal speed once you activate yours.

Air dash + any build makes him so easy. So long as you have the perk that allows you to air dash with no stamina cost it’s just a cake walk. I was truly shocked when I got through him with ease I’m not particularly great at games but after all the hype I was left disappointed and I was on very hard and also tried two different builds, one a netrunner and another sande but I barely had to use hacks or even Sandé just dash.
