  1. how long have you had this setup? im on 2wks on this setup and need to go back to one horizontal and one vertical on the side.

the 2 monitors is too much to look at for me and i lose my focus.

This is usually called a stacked layout, not vertical

I couldn’t continue with it, hurt my neck. plus turns out I use the second screen alot less than I used to, Used to be my second monitor only had temps and such displayed so i bought one of those little 7 inch screens and use that for that now. I do have two extra screens now that are for my work thin client, that I also have plugged into my main setup, but rarely are anything but a background lol, one has a clock on it. its nice to have the extre real estate if i need it, but I wouldnt even have them if not for my WFH jerb

Tried it for a week, hated having to look up so much.

I do think stacked is best but in my configuration I have my main monitor eye level and a smaller portable monitor angled below it. My absolute favorite layout so far and I’ve tried them all 🤣

If you enjoy tension headaches yes…

Stacked monitors look good, but are terrible in practice. The bottom monitor is too low to use comfortably, and the top monitor is too high to use comfortably. I had my monitor stacked for a week and it was just uncomfortable.

  8. I think your setup looks amazing and if it works for you that’s great.

I just upgraded my setup, bought a 38” UW and had an extra monitor to add. I tried this setup as well but after 2 hours it pissed me off and took it down.

Curious, where is your eye level relative to the monitors?
