Make sure you see all the intricacies of the specs. I got a GF65 Thin (thinking I got really good deal) a few years ago and it is terrible.
At least in the GF65 Thin’s case, they sacrificed a lot of cooling capability so that the it could be thinner and lighter. Because of that, anytime the CPU’s clock boosted the laptop’s chassis would get burning hot to the touch. I had to undervolt the CPU and limit its max clock to stop this issue.
Also, there’s the issue about the screen I got. It’s a 120Hz panel so it should be pretty good right? No, the panel’s response time was HIGHER THAN 20ms, literally anything that moved was a shitshow of ghosting and blurring.
Personally speaking fucking avoid cheap MSI laptop models. They cost less for a reason.

Ya not bad. I have a 3050 ti laptop i got on OfferUp for $400 last year and it’s pretty solid. Runs everything I’m playing now and is great when I’m out of the house. At that price I would have just got it that’s a great price especially from a store where you can probably return it if it ends up being ducked up for any reason

Also can someone tell me why on amazon the 16GB ram version of this laptop is $100 MORE than the 32GB version? None of the other specs change when I click either one, just the ram.

There was a Msi laptop in that generation that had a problem with the hinges breaking. Maybe double check to make sure that’s not the same model.
